Youth Voice and Participation Survey

What is the Youth Voice and Participation survey?

The aim is to gather information and data on how schools and youth settings are collecting the views of young people over a three-month period (April 2026 - June 2026). The responses will be brought together to create a single, shared overview of youth voice activity across North Tyneside. This will help us showcase the range of work taking place, highlight good practice, and better understand how young people’s views are being captured and used.

Who can take part and how?

Teachers and youth workers are encouraged to complete our survey, which should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. Before you complete the survey think about:

  • What activities have been running
  • How many young people took part
  • The purpose of the activity and how this made a difference

Why are we doing this?

We want to celebrate you! By completing our survey we can showcase all of the amazing work carried out by children, young people and professionals in North Tyneside in one place.
