North Tyneside Safe Haven – We need your help to name our new venue!
A new Safe Haven will soon open in North Tyneside to offer social, emotional and practical support.
The service will be available to anyone aged 18+ who is struggling with their mental health or experiencing emotional distress. No appointment is needed – you can simply drop in or access support via video call or telephone.
Over the past few months, we've worked with people who have sought help through a Safe Haven, and together we’ve come up with three potential names for the venue. Now, we’d love to hear from you — which one is your favourite? You can cast your vote at the bottom of the page. The vote closes at 5pm onFriday 20 June.
Here’s what you need to know about the North Tyneside Safe Haven:
Coming soon: Summer 2025
Open daily: 2 PM – 10 PM (including weekends and bank holidays)
Location: 80–84 Park Road, Wallsend
Support available: In person, via video call, or by telephone
To stay up to date with when the service opens, you can follow this project or follow Everyturn Mental Health on social media. If you're using a mobile phone, scroll down to find the links. If you're on a computer, the links are on the right-hand side of your screen.
