This Consultation has closed. The outcomes of the consultation will be shared on this website. If you would like an email update on this and other consultations please sign up to Our North Tyneside Voice

Date of consultation: 10 February to 9 March 2025
Number of responses:
123 Surveys

Summary:
A Great response which is no being analysed and outcomes will feature in the You Said We Did Hub

Are you over 50 or a professional working in health and social care sectors? If so, we would like your opinion on design concepts for a local public health campaign. The aim of this campaign is to encourage older people to consider reducing alcohol consumption. We know that older people may be experiencing life circumstances that can lead to an increased level of drinking. We also know that as we get older our bodies break down alcohol more slowly, and therefore, 'low risk' drinking levels, defined as not drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week on a regular basis, may have an even lower threshold (fewer units) for the over 50's than other adults.

Completing the questionnaire will give you the opportunity to provide feedback on what campaign design attracts you most and why. This will help us to understand what is going to have the most impact with our residents.

The results from the questionnaire will inform the decision of which design concept is chosen and promoted with residents.
