Young Advisors are a group of young people who come together to use their lived experiences, skills and knowledge about life, to work with North Tyneside Safeguarding Partnership in their decision making and planning. Members are aged 11-24 years old and live in North Tyneside.
What have they done so far?
Previously Young Advisors worked on a knife crime awareness campaign, following a survey they completed across North Tyneside schools and youth spaces in September 2024. The group took a focus upon knife crime and decided to raise awareness, following the survey results and statistics they found.
