Victor Mann Trust - Application For Financial Assistance
The Victor Mann Trust is a long established charitable fund that was created to support older residents in the Wallsend area. It was founded in 1957 by Reginald William Mann, a local engineer and cofounder of Victor Products, who wished to improve the comfort and wellbeing of older people in the community.
Today, the Trust continues this work by offering grants to people aged 60 or over, who are on a low income and living within the former Borough of Wallsend (NE28). These grants are intended to help with practical needs that can make everyday life a little easier.
Grants can be used to help with essential household items such as furniture, carpeting, wallpaper, or small decorating and improvement works that could make your home more comfortable.
When completing your application, please include all supporting documents requested. This will usually include recent bank statements and quotes for the items or work you are applying for. Please note that the Trust is unable to consider incomplete applications.
If you are applying on behalf of a group, please use the Group Application Form.
