Understanding the awareness of stop smoking support in North Tyneside

Consultation has concluded

Feedback update:

Although the sample size was small, one thing we took from the responses was that people were not aware they could self-refer or how to self-refer. As a result, we will be making sure to highlight this option on future comms we have planned and have highlighted this on our webpage also.

We’d like to hear from people who smoke

North Tyneside Council is looking to understand why some people who smoke have not contacted the Stop Smoking Service.

This short survey will help us understand awareness of the service, how people prefer to access support, and what might make it easier for people to get help in the future.

You do not need to be planning to quit smoking to take part. Your answers are anonymous and will be used to improve how the service is promoted and delivered.
