What is the proposed vision and objectives for North Tyneside’s future?
By 2042 the Local Plan will have helped North Tyneside be a place that can support better lives for all where inequalities, especially those impacting the health and wellbeing of residents, have been addressed, and the Borough:
is a happy and healthy place for residents to live with housing and neighbourhoods that enhance lives
is safe, and has access to green spaces and has places for wildlife
provides everyone with good schools, quality and affordable homes and job opportunities supporting good work and economic growth
is helping to reduce the impacts of climate change, and where the air and water is clean
