As a result of climate change, we are seeing an increase in extreme weather events, such as storms, flooding, and heatwaves. These changing weather patterns impact on the services we deliver and the infrastructure we rely on. More importantly, they can affect our livelihoods and our health and well-being.
To prepare for, and adapt to, a changing climate, we are developing our first Climate Adaptation Strategy for North Tyneside. Climate adaptation is essential because it helps residents, communities, and local businesses cope with the impacts of climate change and this is why we would like your views.
If you have any queries or need us to do anything differently to help you complete this questionnaire, including providing this information in another language or format, please email engagement@northtyneside.gov.uk
The closing date for the survey is Sunday 7 December 2025.
