The Big Future

What is The Big Future?

The Big Future is a survey ran by the Children's Commissioner for England, Rachel De Souza, who wants to hear from children and young people about what it's like to be a child today. The survey will ask about what changes young people want to see in their communities, their biggest concerns and hopes for the future.

Why are North Tyneside Council supporting this?

We would love for as many young people to take part in this survey as possible! Whether you are a school, youth provision, activity group, or an individual young person! By taking part, young people within North Tyneside are able to have their voices heard on a national scale. Once the survey is complete we are able to receive our areas results, which we can then analyse and see what the children and young people of the borough want and need to thrive.

This survey has been sent to all schools in North Tyneside, shared with our participation groups, promoted on social media and also shared with parents and carers we work with.

Who can take part?

The survey is open to young people aged 0-18 and does not end until 23rd October 2026! This gives plenty of time for young people to take part and have their views captured.
