This Consultation has closed. The outcomes of the consultation will be shared on this website. If you would like an email update on this and other consultations please sign up to Our North Tyneside Voice
Date of Consultation: 4 October 2024 Number of Attendees: 107 (including 13residents and 8 children and young people)
Summary:
Although the State Of The Area event is an invitation only event, it is always opened up to residents who are fully registered to Our North Tyneside Voice.
The State Of The Area event brings residents together with businesses, voluntary services organisations, young people, elected members and council officers to consider the priorities facing North Tyneside.
The event was well attended with over 100 people taking part in workshops. These workshops were linked to Our North Tyneside Plan and looked at the 5 key areas of the plan; Green, Secure, Thriving, Caring and Family Friendly. Delegates discussed which priorities we need to focus on in the future, the challenges in achieving these priories and what support individuals in the room could commit to, to help achieve the priorities.
The number of spaces available to residents were all taken and I would like to thank residents that attended on the day, adding an important dimension to discussions.
We are currently evaluating the feedback from the event and when this has been completed we will post this in Your Said We Did
