SEND Youth Forum
North Tyneside SEND Youth Forum is open to children and young people aged 11- 25 years with Special Educational Needs and /or Disabilities (SEND) who live or attend education in North Tyneside.
Young people discuss issues that affect their lives, raise awareness about SEND and are supported to work with North Tyneside Council and other organisations (who provide services for young people). The group work closely with North Tyneside Youth Council, and are welcome to attend Youth Council sessions/activities if they wish.
The SEND Youth Forum is supported by staff from North Tyneside Participation Team, the team visit schools and colleges and organise monthly meetings at Howdon Family Hub.

Dates: Drop in sessions take place on Wednesdays during college holidays.
