North Tyneside SEND Youth Forum is open to children and young people aged of 11-25 with Special Educational Needs and /or Disabilities (SEND) living or attending education in North Tyneside.
Young people discuss issues that affect their lives, raise awareness about SEND and are supported to work with North Tyneside Council and other organisations (who provide services for young people). The group work closely with North Tyneside Youth Council, and are welcome to attend Youth Council sessions/activities if they wish.
SEND Youth Forum for 11-16 years
Dates: Second Wednesday of each month
Time: 17:00 - 18:30
Place: Howdon Family Hub, 11A Howdon Lane, NE28 0AL.
SEND Youth Forum 16-25 years
Dates: Drop in sessions take place on Wednesdays during college holidays.
Easter Holidays Wed 16th April - We can support you to take part in the National Youth Strategy Survey. Usual activities also available relax, chat, craft, play table tennis and PlayStation.
