Seaton Burn to Dudley

The Seaton Burn to Dudley scheme will improve an important local route connecting the two communities and supporting access to North Gosforth Academy.

The scheme will:

• Improve connections between Seaton Burn and Dudley.
• Make walking, wheeling and cycling safer and more attractive.
• Help children travel to school more independently.
• Make it easier to access local services and community facilities.
• Encourage more people to make short local journeys without needing to use a car.

What's included?

• A shared walking and cycling route on the north side of the road between Seaton Burn and Dudley.
• New signal-controlled crossings on Bridge Street in Seaton Burn and Green Lane in Dudley.
• A new village entrance feature and crossing on the approach to Dudley.
