As soon as our consultation closed we knew we could start work on the issues that you highlighted as the most important.
98.4% of the people that responded told us they would be happy for any item that they have taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre (the tip) to be redistributed in a reuse shop.
So here is our new Reuse Container at the Household Waste Recycling Centre – the perfect place to drop off preloved items instead of throwing them away.
We’ll redistribute them into the community through our pop-up reuse shops, helping to reduce waste and help us to be more sustainable borough. More details will follow.
