We listened - more bins at the coast

North Tyneside #InTheLoop recycling campaign

We have received funding from Hubbub and McDonalds to launch North Tyneside #InTheLoop, a campaign which aims to boost recycling at the coast.

We have installed 18 eye-catching recycling bins in some of the busiest places along the seafront to make it easier for visitors and residents to recycle their plastic bottles and cans.

Litter picking stations have also been established at participating businesses, such as Spanish City, Deep North, and Tynemouth Surf Co. Volunteers will be able to borrow litter picking kits to support their coastline communities.

Visit my.northtyneside.gov.uk/intheloop to find out where all the new bins and litter picking stations are.
