Proposal to close Monkseaton High School

As no viable options have been identified to secure the future of Monkseaton High School, in line with the Department for Educations guidelines for consulting on the closure of a school, the Council has now entered a formal representation period.  As part of this, you can share your views on the proposal to close Monkseaton High School by completing this form. All responses to this anonymous form will be dealt with in accordance with our privacy notice, which can be found here in our privacy statement. The feedback received over the next month will be considered by North Tyneside Council’s Cabinet at a meeting on 19 December 2024 to make the final decision.
