This Consultation has closed. If you would like to be notified further please register to the Our North Tyneside Voice site.
The outcomes of the consultation will be shared on this website. If you would like an email update on this and other consultations please sign up to Our North Tyneside Voice
Date of Consultation: 4 November 202 to 26 January 2025
Number of Responses: 16,000
Summary
The North East Combined Authority (NECA) received 16,000 responses, 2,400 were from North Tyneside which is above what we would hope for, and we’ve included a map which shows the level of voting.
Responses showed consistent support for our Local Transport Plan
81% strongly agreeing or agreeing with our ambition
85% strongly agreeing or agreeing that we have identified the right challenges
81% that we are focusing on the right improvements
64% of responses indicate that our proposed improvements would improve their use of sustainable travel.
Reach and resilience of the network was a key part of the responses from the online survey, including themes of punctuality and reliability as well as delays and disruptions, but all of the things raised by the consultees are referenced within the Plan. Further evaluation will take place but early signs indicate there are minimal changes required to the Plan.
When further feedback is available we will post it in You Said We Did.
