We were out and about again in July, following on from the success of our January drop-ins. Staff from our Housing and Property Service were on hand to help answer any questions or give advice relating to repairs, community protection and anti-social behaviour, neighbourhoods, and tenancy and financial support.
We were delighted that 56 tenants came along to talk to us.
This time, we visited White Swan Centre in Killingworth, Cedarwood Trust in Meadow Well and ran a Saturday morning session at Battle Hill Library.
Promotion of the drop-ins included:
The council's magazine, delivered to homes
Social media
Local voluntary and community groups
Ward councillors
Social supermarkets
Via council teams who work with council tenants
