The Regional Children in Care Council have recently completed AI skills for life and work training with Google, looking at how to use AI in day to day life, in connection to jobs and also using AI safely.
What was the training about?
The group used AI in live settings with trainers, to help them understand how to use the tool in the most effective way. Resources were also given to the group to support them when using AI in the future for different reasons.
Why?
The training was arranged following the Care Leavers Board and the Association for Directors of Children's Services, highlighting the importance of educating young people around the use of AI.
