Pride in Place is an investment in the people of Percy Main as well as the place itself. We want residents at every stage of life to have opportunities to participate, connect, develop and thrive. Our community investment will support activities that respond to different needs across the generations, strengthen relationships within the community and ensure that no section of the community is unintentionally left behind.
The Pride in Place Grants Programme will provide opportunities for residents, volunteer groups and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver projects that respond directly to priorities identified through community engagement in Percy Main.
The programme will support activity that strengthens community cohesion, participation and pride in place, ensuring that investment does more than fund individual activities. Projects should create opportunities for residents to contribute to their community, develop stronger relationships and make Percy Main a cleaner, safer, more connected and positive place to live.
Smaller grant supporting resident-led and grassroots activity that encourages people to come together, improve their neighbourhood and build stronger community connections
Please see full guidelines on the small grants HERE
Any questions regarding grants or support with this form, please contact Caroline Donaldson, prideinplace@northtyneside.gov.uk
