North Tyneside Council Adult Social Care supports people with physical and mental health conditions to live safe, healthy and independent lives. Last year we supported over 4,000 residents, by providing:
- Advice and information.
- Technology and equipment.
- Adaptations to people’s homes.
- Support with day-to-day tasks.
- Action to prevent and stop abuse and neglect.
Adult Social Care also support people who provide unpaid care to friends or family members
We have drafted key priorities for a 2025 - 2026 strategy. It will build the foundations for a longer-term strategy until 2030, in line with a new Council Plan and Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
The booklet ‘Adult Social Care Strategy 2025 – 2026: Have your say’ sets out our ideas, formed through conversations with people with support needs, partner organisations, and our workers. We now invite your feedback on these ideas using this survey.
We will use the results to finalise our strategy for the next two years.
Please submit your completed questionnaire by Sunday 17 November 2024.
