The North Tyneside Community Safety Partnership, Safer North Tyneside is reviewing it’s Strategy and we want to hear your views.
The Strategy has been developed by the Partnership and sets out the proposed priorities for tackling crime and disorder in the Borough. The previous Strategy was adopted in 2019 and this Strategy will run from 2026 to 2030.
The Safer North Tyneside Partnership is made up of representatives from North Tyneside Council, Northumbria Police, Probation Service, Tyne and Wear Fire Service and the NHS North East and Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
The strategy document outlines four high level priorities to ensure community safety in the borough. These priorities have been developed by looking at collected data from all the organisations above and also taking on board feedback and views from members of our communities.
We now want you to read and feedback on these priorities and make sure we have the right ones and have not missed anything. Only then can we be sure that we have the right framework to help us create annual Safer North Tyneside Plans for creating community safety in North Tyneside.
