Suggest where to have Cycle Parking in North Tyneside
To support active travel in North Tyneside, our Sustainable Transport team are proposing to install cycle stands at some new locations around the borough. These stands, commonly known as Sheffield stands, are a standard form of cycle parking, and will comply with national guidance.
Please consider locations that could be used and well loved by everyone. Think destinations such as parks, community centres, and shopping areas. They must be on publicly owned, easily accessed land.
All suggestions will be reviewed by the Sustainable Transport team, and a number of stands will be installed before the end of the calendar year.
If you would like to contribute any feedback to this proposal, please press the Have your Say button below to drop a pin on the map, and provide a brief explanation as to why this is your chosen location.
You don’t need to create an account to take part. You’ll just be asked for a name and email address, which can be any you feel comfortable using. We ask for this basic information so we can prevent misuse, reduce duplicate entries, and make sure all feedback is genuine
All responses to this survey will be dealt with in accordance with our privacy notice which can be found here Privacy Statement
