Cumulative Impact Assessment (Licensing)

As a result of resident feedback where two thirds of the respondents were in favour of the the proposals the Licensing Committee approved the Cumulative Impact Assessment 2024 -2027.

The committee noted however that despite a small response rate to this issue there was concern that the the CIA had pros or cons and didn't cover the right area. They did however accept the police statistics that showed that anti-social behaviour in the wider area was not alcohol related.

The Committee decided that given that there was to be no change for now, but the response rate was low, that the Officers should focus on what a different consultation document would look like and how we can generate the most responses with a presentation and come back to the the committee within 12 months as a maximum.

A great result for pubic engagement.
