Teams from our Housing and Property Service have been out and about over the year, hosting informal drop-in sessions to offer advice and answer any questions tenants may have.
Nine drop-ins in total were held during 2025, at community venues in Longbenton, Meadow Well, Howdon, Battle Hill, Dudley, Shiremoor, Wallsend and Killingworth. A total of 124 tenants have received advice and had their questions answered, and feedback from those who came along was very positive.
We plan on doing more during 2026. If you'd like to suggest a venue that you think would be suitable for us to visit, please email engagement@northtyneside.gov.uk
Our neighbourhood housing officers also have a programme of regular visits to libraries across the borough where you can drop by for a chat, no appointment needed. You can find their programme here: Library timetable
