Coastal hub opens to strengthen response to anti-social behaviour
Residents who took part in the Big Community Conversation 2025 told us that increased police presence would help make the area feel safer for everyone. In response, the Local Authority is now funding the newly launched temporary multi‑agency hub at the North Tyneside Coast — a shared space where police, council teams, and partner organisations can:
Engage directly with the public
Offer advice, support, and reassurance
Coordinate activity across services to improve safety and wellbeing
It’s designed to be a visible, accessible point of contact for anyone who wants to speak with professionals working to keep the coast safe.
