The community in Burradon and Camperdown is celebrating the completion of improvement works at Fryer’s Millennium Green, a village space for everyone to enjoy.
Delivered in partnership with Burradon and Camperdown Community Association, North Tyneside Council has transformed the Green with flowering trees, wildflower meadow and new planting, a reinstated circular path with deep-cleaned walkways, and the installation of a disabled access ramp. Shrub clearance has revealed a much-loved community artwork created by Burradon Primary School almost 25 years ago.
The Green is now open to the public and all are welcome to use it.
